This weekend focused on God’s end game - the Millennial Kingdom. While we have an extended worship set posted above, we only have audio of the teaching.

You can find abbreviated teaching notes and scriptures available here. These are sparse - they’re not much help as a stand alone resource - but will help you track with the teaching audio.

Teaching is available audio only, and can be accessed three ways:

Or listen right here!

Part 2 of our Egypt series. Randy teaches about the death of Jacob and why they went to great lengths to bury him in the land they longed for.

If you’re wanting a closer look at the Hall of Fame coin, it is posted below the video!

View Item.jpeg

This commemorative coin is from the College Football Hall of Fame building that Randy references in the teaching.

The Hall of Fame has since relocated to another city and the building was destroyed, but the dreams and prayers prayed about what God wants to do are still very real!

Worship Resources

Pastor Lyle Phillips and his team at Legacy Nashville have produced hours of worship and prayer sets like this one.

Play it as your working around the house - worship can change the very atmosphere we live in!

Also, this is a great song as we near the end of 2020 and look back at the Lord’s leadership over our lives. We really do see evidence of His goodness.

FAQs

Has a church ever done a Thanksgiving Special?
To be honest, we don't know, but it's 2020 and we're up for some excitement. Besides, what's been normal so far?

Can I bring something to eat?
Well, it's on Zoom, so you're free to eat what you like. You'll be in your own home.

What should I expect?
Some military grade encouragement, some stories of things gone right, and a variety of voices from our church family!

Will this be weird if I'm not a regular?
Not at all. Watch. Lurk with your camera off if you prefer. Or dress up in a turkey outfit and surprise us all! No one will be made uncomfortable and you won't be asked to clean up...but we think you'll be glad you joined us!

The Mess We Are In - Part 2

“I don’t want outrage to be the primary encounter that people have when I talk about the unborn. I want to be able to offer logical, positive, feasible solutions that save lives and give expectant women hope and a clean conscience.” - Randy Bohlender

The 89th Minute

OverPage-0.png

At the Bohlender house, we watch a lot of soccer, and we’ve noticed something. Be it at the recreational level of our third grade daughter or the English Premier League, we see a common occurrence.

Soccer games - except for the youngest teams - are 90 minutes long, plus a few minutes added by the ref to make up for time wasted or injuries. No matter how hard players have worked for most of the game - especially if they’re trailing - they find new energy and fervor as the clock winds down.

Teams play differently in the 89th minute.

They press a little harder. They push themselves. They chase down every opportunity and they give it their all. Close games are won or lost in the 89th minute.

It feels a little like the 89th minute for our nation. The drama of a pandemic, an election, and a society deeply divided over race and civil unrest like we have not seen in decades has added a level of pressure that is different and more intense than most of us anticipated this season of life would be.

We’re praying seven nights straight because teams play differently in the 89th minute. We love all the activity surrounding the local church, but a potluck or book study will not shape the nation in the next week. Intercession will.

Churches pray differently in the 89th minute.

Join us this week at 7PM - October 27th through November 1 - for worship and prayer at 13162 State Line in Leawood. We will continue Monday, November 2 at a different location. If you can’t make it live, join us via Zoom, password prayer.

It’s the 89th minute. Let’s press hard.
