23“Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the way you shall bless the children of Israel. Say to them: 24“The LORD bless you and keep you; 25the LORD make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; 26the LORD lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.”’” (Num. 6:23-26)

2“...darkness shall cover the earth, and deep darkness the people; but the LORD will arise over you, and His glory will be seen upon you. 3The Gentiles shall come to your light...5Then you shall see and become radiant...the wealth of the Gentiles shall come to you. (Isa. 60:2-5)

1For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until her righteousness goes forth as brightness...2The Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory...4You shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married. 5For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.

6I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem; they shall never hold their peace day or night. You who make mention of the LORD, do not keep silent, 7And give Him no rest...till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth...11The LORD has proclaimed to the end of the world: “Say to the daughter of Zion, ‘Surely your salvation is coming...and His work before Him.’” (Isa. 62:1-11)

4I prayed...and said, “Great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant and mercy with those who love Him...7O Lord, righteousness belongs to You...17cause Your face to shine on Your sanctuary...18Incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name...because of Your great mercies. 19O Lord, hear! O Lord, forgive! O Lord, listen and act! Do not delay...for Your city and Your people are called by Your name.” (Dan. 9:4-19)

13You will arise and have mercy on Zion; for the time to favor her, Yes, the set time, has come... 15So the nations shall fear the name of the LORD...16For the LORD shall build up Zion; He shall appear in His glory...18This will be written for the generation to come, that a people yet to be created may praise the LORD. 19For He looked down from the height of His sanctuary...

the LORD viewed the earth, 20to hear the groaning of the prisoner, to release those appointed to death, 21to declare the name of the LORD...and His praise in Jerusalem... (Ps. 102:13-21)

11...in that day that the LORD shall set His hand again the second time to recover the remnant of His people who are left, from Assyria [Jordan, Syria, Iraq] and Egypt, from Pathros [Upper Egypt] and Cush [Ethiopia], from Elam [Iran] and Shinar [Iraq], from Hamath [Syria] and the islands of the sea [Mediterranean]. 12He will set up a banner...and will assemble the outcasts of Israel, and gather the dispersed of Judah from the four corners of the earth... (Isa. 11:11-12)

14...they shall sing; for the majesty of the LORD they shall cry aloud...15glorify the LORD in the dawning light...16From the ends of the earth we have heard songs: “Glory to the righteous!” (Isa. 24:14-16)

2O LORD, be gracious to us; we have waited for You. Be their arm every morning, our salvation in the time of trouble...3When You lift Yourself up, the nations shall be scattered...5The LORD is exalted, for He dwells on high; He has filled Zion with justice...6Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; the fear of the LORD is His treasure... 10“Now I will rise,” says the LORD...17Your eyes will see the King in His beauty. 1The wilderness...and the desert shall rejoice and blossom...2even with joy and singing...

they shall see the glory of the LORD, the excellency of our God. 3Strengthen the weak hands,

and make firm the feeble knees. 4Say to those who are fearful-hearted, “Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God...will come and save you.” 5Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped. 6Then the lame shall leap like a deer, and the tongue of the dumb sing...8A highway shall be there...it shall be called the Highway of Holiness...

10The ransomed of the LORD shall...come to Zion with singing...” (Isa. 35:1-10)

5For your Maker is your husband, The LORD of hosts is His name; and your Redeemer is the Holy One of Israel; He is called the God of the whole earth...10“My kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace be removed...13All your children shall be taught by

the LORD, and great shall be the peace of your children... 15whoever assembles against you shall fall...17No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD...” (Isa. 54:5-17)

17Israel shall be saved by the LORD...18Thus says the LORD...who formed the earth...“I am the LORD...19I have not spoken in secret...I, the LORD, speak righteousness, I declare things that are right...22Look to Me, and be saved, all you ends of the earth...23I have sworn by Myself; the word has gone out of My mouth in righteousness...that to Me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall take an oath. 24He shall say, ‘Surely in the LORD I have righteousness and strength.’”

6“...My people shall know My name...they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks...” 7How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news...who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” 8Your watchmen shall lift up their voices...they shall sing together;

they shall see eye to eye when the LORD brings back Zion...10The LORD has made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God. (Isa. 52:6-10)

1But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, and He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. 2When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned...3I am... your Savior...4Since you were precious in My sight, you have been honored, and I have loved you...” (Isa. 43:1-4)

12“I will leave in your midst a meek and humble people...13The remnant of Israel shall do no unrighteousness...” 14Sing...rejoice...O daughter of Jerusalem!...15He has cast out your enemy. The King of Israel...is in your midst...17“The LORD your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save...He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.” (Zeph. 3:12-17)

7I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD...the great goodness toward the house of Israel ...15Look down...see from Your habitation, holy and glorious. Where are [the manifestations] Your zeal and Your strength, the yearning of Your heart and Your mercies...are they restrained? 16You, O LORD, are our Father; our Redeemer...64:1Oh, that You would rend the heavens...[and] come down that the mountains might shake at Your presence...2make Your name known to Your adversaries, that the nations may tremble at Your presence!... (Isa. 63:7-64:2)

2O LORD, I have heard Your speech and was afraid; O LORD, revive Your work in the midst of the years! In the midst of the years make it known; in wrath remember mercy... (Hab. 3:2)

14Shepherd Your people...the flock of Your heritage. 15“As in the days when you came out of

the land of Egypt, I will show them wonders.” 16The nations shall...be ashamed of their might... 17They shall be afraid of the LORD...and shall fear because of You. 18Who is a God like You, pardoning iniquity and passing over the transgression of the remnant of His heritage?...

He delights in mercy. 19He will again have compassion on us, and will subdue our iniquities... 20You will give truth to Jacob and mercy to Abraham [the children of Israel]... (Mic. 7:14-20)

37“I will gather them out of all countries where I have driven them...I will bring them back to this place...39I will give them one heart and one way, that they may fear Me forever...

40I will make an everlasting covenant with them...I will put My fear in their hearts so that they will not depart from Me. 41Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will assuredly plant them in this land, with all My heart...42I will bring on them all the good that I promised them.” (Jer. 32:37-42)

1Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel...2stir up Your strength, and come and save us! 3Restore us... cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved!...14Return, we beseech You, O God of hosts; Look down from heaven and see, and visit 15the vineyard [Israel] which Your right hand has planted, and the branch that You made strong for Yourself...18Revive us, and we will call upon Your name. 19Restore us, O LORD God of hosts; cause Your face to shine, and we shall be saved! (Ps. 80:1-19)

34“I will bring you from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm...35I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will plead My case with you face to face...37I will bring you into the bond of the covenant... 40For on My holy mountain...there all the house of Israel...shall serve Me; there I will accept them...41I bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you have been scattered; and I will be hallowed in you before the Gentiles.” (Ezek. 20:34-41)

11...“Indeed I Myself will search for My sheep...12As a shepherd seeks out his flock...so I will seek out My sheep and deliver them from all the places where they were scattered...13I will bring them to their land...16I will seek what was lost and bring back what was driven away, bind up the broken and strengthen what was sick...26I will make them...a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing. 27Then the trees of the field shall yield their fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase...” (Ezek. 34:11-27)

11“On that day I will raise up the tabernacle of David, which has fallen down...I will raise up its ruins, and rebuild it...12that they may possess the remnant of Edom, and all the Gentiles who are called by My name,” says the LORD who does this thing...14“I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; they shall build the waste cities...they shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; they shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. 15I will plant them in their land,

and no longer shall they be pulled up from the land I have given them”... (Amos 9:11-15)

23“I will sanctify My great name...and the nations shall know that I am the LORD...when I am hallowed in you [Israel] before their eyes. 24For I will take you from among the nations...bring you into your own land. 25Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean...

26I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you...27I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes...30I will multiply the fruit of your trees and the increase of your fields...35So they will say, ‘This land that was desolate has become like the garden of Eden; and the...ruined cities are now fortified and inhabited.’ 36Then the nations which are left all around you shall know that I, the LORD, have rebuilt the ruined places and planted what was desolate. I, the LORD, have spoken it, and I will do it...37I will also let the house of Israel inquire of Me to do this for them: I will increase their men...the ruined cities be filled with...men.” (Ezek. 36:23-37)

4Again He said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, ‘O dry bones, hear the word of the LORD... 5surely I will cause breath to enter into you, and you shall live...’” 9Also He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath...say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, that they may live”’”...11He said to me, “...these bones are the whole house of Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves are cut off!’ 12Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD: “Behold, O My people...14I will put My Spirit in you,...and I will place you in your own land.”’” (Ezek. 37:4-14)

15Blow the trumpet in Zion, consecrate a fast, call a sacred assembly; 16Gather the people...

17Let the priests...weep between the porch and the altar; let them say, “Spare Your people,

O LORD...” 28“It shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh;

your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions...30I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth...31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD...32whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved. For in Mount Zion and

in Jerusalem there shall be deliverance...among the remnant whom the Lord calls.” (Joel 2:15-32)
